Following the joint construction work plans of the Publishing Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and under the guidance and support of the Publicity Department of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee, NKU adheres to an interdisciplinary approach to build a high-caliber publishing discipline system. The University brings together broad expertise to advance the development of a high-quality publishing think tank, promotes high-standard industry–academia–research collaboration, and implements incentive mechanisms to drive the Institute's high-quality development. Guided by a four-in-one framework that integrates publishing discipline construction, think tank development, laboratory development, and talent cultivation, the institute has focused on seven key areas: adhering to interdisciplinary integration to improve the publishing discipline development system; combining talent recruitment and training to build a multidisciplinary publishing discipline team; developing high-quality teaching materials to support disciplinary advancement; conducting organized research to strengthen faculty research capabilities; pooling collective expertise to promote high-quality think tank development; encouraging student participation in academic and practical activities to improve training quality; and deepening university-enterprise collaboration to promote industry-education integration. These efforts have produced notable results.
