On the afternoon of June 10, a student delegation of the Class of 2026, led by Li Hui, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication, visited Huawei Tianjin. The visit aimed to broaden students' horizons, expose them to the innovative atmosphere and cultural appeal of the technology company, and deepen their understanding of its organizational structure and work model, thereby supporting their career planning.

Upon arriving at Huawei Tianjin technology park, the delegation gained an initial understanding of the facilities and overall environment during a tour. Following this, Tian Zheren, a 2021 graduate of NKU, conducted an engaging sharing session for the delegation. During the session, the participants learned about Huawei's development history, organizational structure, and talent strategy, as well as its core values: staying customer-centric, inspiring dedication, persevering, and growing by reflection. Tian highlighted his journey from campus to the workplace, sharing his growth and experiences at Huawei. He also detailed Huawei's technological breakthroughs on the global stage, particularly in AI—from the Ascend chips to the Pangu Large Models—explaining how Huawei is driving intelligent transformation across industries through fundamental research.

In the communication session, students actively asked questions and engaged in in-depth discussions on job matching, talent development, corporate culture, and career planning, sharing insights from their own academic and internship experiences in a lively atmosphere. Through the discussion and responses, the students gained a deeper understanding of the job market and eagerly expressed their intention to further enhance their overall competencies, seize opportunities, embrace challenges, and strive hard to achieve their goals.

This visit was more than a learning experience; it was an opportunity to lay the groundwork for the future. Through on-site visits, in-depth exchanges, and firsthand experience, the students broadened their professional horizons and gained a profound understanding of the innovative culture and social responsibility of a tech enterprise. Moreover, they developed new insights into their own career planning. Looking ahead, the School will continue visiting relevant companies, building communication platforms for graduates, and promoting high-quality and full employment.
