To further integrate university resources and advance the development of Nankai University Science and Technology Park, Guo Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tianjin NKU Asset Management Co., Ltd., recently visited the School of Journalism and Communication. The symposium was chaired by Ma Changhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School and attended by members of the leadership group Chen Na, Chen Peng, and Li Hui.

Ma gave an overview of the School's development, faculty, and distinctive advantages in talent cultivation. She emphasized the School's strong interest in the development of Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park and expressed a desire for a two-way journey that connects academic research, talent development, and innovation and entrepreneurship with the needs of enterprises and society. She hopes to establish a long-term collaboration mechanism in areas such as internships, training, student employment, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and services for enterprises, working together to cultivate high-caliber media professionals for the new era.

Guo Wei introduced the development and operations of Tianjin NKU Asset Management Co., Ltd. and its affiliated platform companies, highlighting the progress made in the construction of Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park. He acknowledged the School's significant contributions to nurturing outstanding talents for society and promoting NKU's influence. He noted that this visit serves as a bridge for sharing resources and tapping into complementarity between the two sides. The company will further integrate university and enterprise resources, strengthening industry-university-research collaboration to provide more opportunities for student internships and practical training. He looked forward to the School's continual efforts to leverage its strengths as a media-oriented think tank and provide strategic insights to support enterprise development, thereby achieving high-quality, mutually beneficial growth for both the School and enterprises.

The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on supporting the development of Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park and the NKU Sci-tech Park New Media Service Center, jointly building student internship and training bases, and deepening school-enterprise cooperation.

Representatives from Tianjin NKU Asset Management Co., Ltd., Nankai University Science and Technology Park Co., Ltd., Nankai University 21st Century Industrial Institute Co., Ltd., and the School of Journalism and Communication attended the meeting.
